we will remember

Every generation seems to have a specific event that they will never forget.  For (most of) the Millennials, that event is 9/11.  Everyone seems to remember where they were and what they were doing.  When I reflected back on that day and the weeks to follow, the first song that popped into my head was “We Will Remember” by Tommy Walker.  Our church recently sang this one and I sure didn’t have dry eyes by the end.  I hope it speaks to your heart this morning.

Hubs and I were able to run in honor of 9/11 on Saturday.  We ran to support the Sweetwater fire department.  Each bib had a name of a fallen fire fighter from 9/11.  We started out under the American flag raised by a ladder truck and again no dry eyes for me.  I ran in honor of

So happy we were able to support the current men and women who serve our country as well as honor the memory of that day.
